The Independent Authority of Public Revenue (AADE), on Wednesday the 22^nd of March 2023, announced the necessity to upgrade the cash registers to connect to POS.

Upon completion of the upgrade, the existing operating FTM and ADIME will be able to integrate with payment card acceptance terminals (EFT/POS), to transmit the amount of card payment and at the same time to ensure the issuance of the relevant receipt.

For businesses with a turnover of up to € 100,000, the deadline for the completion of the upgrade is 30.06.2023, while for businesses with a turnover that exceeds € 100,000, the deadline is 31.07.2023.
